Who you are agreeing with
CURA is operated by Cura Global Technologies, Inc., a corporation registered in Delaware, United States. "We", "us" and "CURA" mean that company. "You" means anyone using the platform, whether as a patient, as a member of a hospital or clinic, or as a visitor.
Using CURA means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.
What CURA is
CURA is a booking platform. It lets you find hospitals and clinics outside your own country, see what they charge before you enquire, and send them a booking request.
That is the whole of what it does. Everything below follows from it.
What CURA is not
CURA is not a healthcare provider, a hospital, a clinic, a doctor, an insurer, a broker, or a travel agent. We do not practise medicine and we do not employ the people who do.
- We give no medical advice, opinion, diagnosis, or recommendation, and nothing on the platform should be read as any of those.
- We do not decide whether a treatment is suitable for you. Only a qualified clinician who has examined you can do that.
- We do not take part in your treatment, and we are not present for it.
- We do not handle payment. See "Money" below.
- We do not arrange, sell, or advise on insurance, visas, or travel.
The relationship is between you and the provider
When a hospital or clinic accepts your booking request, the agreement for that treatment is between you and them. CURA is not a party to it.
That means the provider, not CURA, is responsible for the care given, the clinical decisions made, the price charged, and anything that goes wrong with the treatment itself. Any claim about treatment is a claim against the provider, under the law of the country where the treatment happened.
What we check, and what we do not
Before a hospital or clinic appears in search results, we review the details it has given us and the documents it has supplied. We remove listings that we find to be inaccurate, and we suspend providers who behave badly toward patients.
That review is not an inspection, an accreditation, an endorsement, or a guarantee of clinical quality or outcome. We do not visit facilities, we do not audit clinical practice, and we do not verify every claim a provider makes about itself. Prices and availability are supplied by the provider and can be wrong or out of date.
Money
CURA does not collect, hold, transfer, or refund money. We charge patients nothing for using the platform.
When a provider asks you to pay, they do so through their own payment processor. If they send a payment link through CURA, we show you the link and the amount they entered, and nothing more: we do not see the payment, we cannot confirm it succeeded, and we cannot reverse it. Any question about a charge, a refund, or a deposit is between you and the provider.
If anyone asks you to pay CURA itself, that is not us. Please tell us.
Your account
You must give accurate information when you register, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Do not create an account for somebody else without their knowledge.
What you may not do
- Use the platform for anything unlawful, or to arrange anything unlawful in either country.
- Impersonate somebody, or list a hospital or clinic you have no authority to represent.
- Upload anything you have no right to upload.
- Send other users unsolicited messages or advertising.
- Scrape, copy, or resell provider listings or pricing.
- Attack, probe, or overload the platform, or try to reach data that is not yours.
Content you give us
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the people who need it: a booking request and the documents attached to it are shown to the provider you sent them to, and to our own staff when they need to answer a support question.
Providers give us permission to show their listing, their services, and their prices publicly, and confirm they have the right to do so.
Ending it
You can stop using CURA at any time and ask us to delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harm somebody, or that we are required to close by law. Where we reasonably can, we will say why.
Where we stand on liability
The platform is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that listings will always be accurate, or that a provider will accept your request.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the treatment you receive, for a provider’s acts or omissions, for money you pay a provider, or for travel, visa, or insurance arrangements. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the platform before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use CURA after that means you accept the new version.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
If something has gone wrong, please write to info@curaglobaltech.com first. Most things are faster to fix that way than through a court.
