Medical Disclaimer

CURA is not a healthcare provider and nothing here is medical advice.

Read this first

CURA is a way to find and contact hospitals and clinics. It is not a medical service, and nobody at CURA is your clinician.

Nothing on this platform is medical advice

Treatment names, descriptions, specialties, prices, and anything else shown on a provider’s listing are supplied by that provider to describe what they offer. They are not a recommendation that you should have the treatment, and not an opinion that it is suitable for you.

No part of CURA can tell you what is wrong with you or what you should do about it. Only a qualified clinician who has examined you and seen your history can do that.

In an emergency, do not use this platform

CURA is for planning treatment in advance. It is not monitored for emergencies and a booking request is not a call for help.

If you or somebody else is seriously unwell or in danger, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department now.

Listing is not endorsement

We review the details and documents a hospital or clinic gives us before it appears, and we remove listings we find to be inaccurate. That is a check on what is claimed, not an inspection of a facility and not an assessment of clinical quality.

A hospital appearing on CURA is not us saying it is good, that it is right for your condition, or that your treatment will succeed.

Treatment abroad carries risks we cannot manage for you

Standards, qualifications, and legal remedies differ between countries. So does what happens if something goes wrong after you fly home, and whether your insurance covers any of it.

Please take independent medical advice at home before committing to treatment abroad, and satisfy yourself about the provider, the plan, and the aftercare.

Where responsibility sits

The hospital or clinic that treats you is responsible for that treatment, for its clinical decisions, and for its own regulatory compliance. CURA is not a party to your treatment and does not supervise it.
